Daniel Williams

Summer of '83 - drank a lot and a bunch of mischief before leaving for  
the Army... four days after my 18th birthday - October 4, 1983.

Spent 6 months at Ft Leonard Wood, MO, 18 months at Ft. Hood, TX, and  
24 months in West Berlin, Germany. Berlin was fun, lots to do, and  
lots of history and politics. I was there from 85-87.... before the  
wall came down.

Got out of the Army in October 1987 and moved to Big Rapids to attend  
Ferris. My dad got sick and passed in January 1989, school suffered, I  
dropped out. Worked in Big Rapids and Grand Rapids for a few years  
until I decided to head back to School... Back to Ferris for Plastics  
Engineering in about 1993.

While working at the local Domino's Pizza, delivering pizzas, I met my  
future wife, Shelly. We dated for two years and got married in the  
spring of 1997.... in Hawaii. We went back to Hawaii for our ten year  
anniversary last spring.

We like to relive childhood vacations now that we are a little older  
and can appreciate it more. Trips to date include: Washington DC,  
Mount Rushmore, U.P., and Hawaii (not a childhood trip, but hey). We  
are planning a Florida trip this fall.

We are currently living and working in the Grand Rapids area, no kids,  
a golden retriever and two cats..... enjoying life and trying to  
figure out how to retire before we are 70.
