Eric Lorf

Eric Gregory Lorf, Santorini Island, Greece, formerly of Caro, Died of kidney failure and went to be with his heavenly father and earthly father, Dave, on Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at the age of 41. He was born on June 13, 1964, and was the son of David and Julie Lorf. Eric enjoyed entertaining visitors at his Boutique Hotel in Oia, Santorini; as well as traveling and sailing. He is survived by his mother, Julie Lorf; his siblings, Win (Margaret) Larsen of Paw Paw, Victoria (Craig) Denny of Oakhurst, CA and John Lorf of Sonora, CA; three nieces and nephews, Nicholas and Sarah Larsen and Melissa Denny; grandparents, Janet Lorf of Caro and Richard and Justine Goodell of Paradise, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, David Lorf. A memorial service will be held at Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday, July 7, at 7 p.m. with Pastor Rocky Spear, Colwood United Brethren in Christ Church, officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Lorf family discretionary fund, c/o Julie Lorf.
